YouTube Channels That You Should Watch if You're a Gamer or Techie

Here are some channels that you should watch on YouTube if you're a gamer or if you're a techie; this isn't ranked or anything like that it's just a list.  I also linked the list to create some extra work for myself and to help you to get to the channels instantly.  I also wanted to explain why I chose these channels:

1. Metal Jesus Rocks

Metal Jesus Rocks is a great gaming channel.  He has a great personality, he's a former employee of Sierra Games, and he has a big video game collection.  Check his channel out and click the link above.

2. U Can Beat Video Games

U Can Beat Video Games catch my attention because I like Nintendo video games and I grew up with the NES. It was my first console.  This guy is a master of beating video games and he gives all of the tips for anyone who wants to beat their video games.

3. LGR

LGR stands for Lazy Game Reviews.  This guy talks about retro computers and some odd ware as well.  Out of all of the channels this one really caught my attention because of the history of computers and how they worked at the time.

4. ETA Prime

ETA Prime has some new tech for gaming that he shows off and it's exciting to see how they work.  He's mostly ahead with gaming tech so check out his channel.

5. Mr. Wright Way

Mr. Wright Way is a video game collector.  He knows how to trade and he knows how to get the best deals.

6. Linus Tech Tips

One of the top tech YouTubers Linus Sebastian and his team shows his audience his gaming tech tips through PC computing.  He also talks about tech and experiments with tech as well.

7. Modstek

Need a few modifications for your old computer? This guy can turn old computers into desirable gaming machines.  It's fun to watch him do some incredible things with what some may consider junk.

8. The 8 Bit Guy

The 8 Bit Guy, also known as David Murray, is not only an intellectual in computing, but is one of the great historians of computing as well.  Anytime The 8 Bit Guy puts out a video I watch instantly.  He's a big fan of the Commodore 64, a video game maker for old PC computing, the founder of the Commander X16, and just like George Lucas is a fan of John Williams's music Murray is a fan of Anders Enger Jensen (You hear his music all throughout Murray's videos).

9. Techquickie

Also, a Linus Sebastian channel, Techquickie gives quick tips on tech.  How about that?

10. ShortCircuit

ShortCircuit is also a Linus Sebastian channel (do you see a pattern here?) Sebastian and his team review new technology.

11. CGQ+

CGQ+ stands for Classic Gaming Quarterly Plus because obviously there's more amazing things that he likes to talk about on his channel.  The one thing that he does over any of the tech channels is he has great ideas as far as his presentation is concerned.  For example, he'll flip through an old retro gaming magazine on camera and talk about how he feels about an old video game or advertisement from back in the day.  His channel is definitely one to keep an eye on.

12. LGR Blerbs

An off the script version of Lazy Game Reviews.  Clint talks about old computing products from back in the day off the cuff.

13. Nintendo Collecting

This is probably one of the biggest Nintendo games and accessories collectors in the world.  He hasn't made a video since early 2023, but these videos are a thrill to watch.  So, if you're into all things Nintendo this is the guy to watch.

14. Sega Lord X

Sega Lord X talks about his experiences with the Sega brand.  He mentions his favorite games and not so favorite games.

15. MKBHD

Another top tech YouTuber.  Marques Brownlee shows his audience the latest technology.  He shows technology that's available now and technology that isn't out.  He also gives reviews on the tech as well.

16. Odd Tinkering

Odd Tinkering restores technology that has long been forgotten or in a way remembered.

17. JayZTwoCents

His name also says it all JayZTwoCents gives his two cents and views about computer building.  He is one of YouTube's most watched tech channels.

18. Chris Titus Tech

Out of everyone on my list Chris Titus is an actual computer programmer.  He loves Linux, but it doesn't mean that he doesn't talk about Windows as well.  Chris Titus takes his time coding and shows his viewers how rewarding it is to compute.

19. SIMPLE

The emulation guy.  He shows his viewers how to emulate retro consoles so that you can play it on your personal computer.  His step by step process is clear and concise.

20. John Hancock

Known as the "Professor of Retro" and also as "The Immortal" John Hancock.  Hancock shows his viewers that collecting for your console can be fun.  In fact John as one of the biggest retro video game collections in the world.  If you're looking to learn about how and what to collect for your retro video games collection look no further than "The Immortal" John Hancock.

21. OZTalksHW

Budget PC gaming is important and that's why OZTalksHW's channel was made.  He'll show you how to build a low priced gaming computer that can play AAA video games.
