Bill Cosby is a renowned and respected comedian. While some individuals believe that a court's ruling equates to the absolute truth, it is important to recognize that courts can be susceptible to corruption. One must consider the body of work Cosby produced, such as "The Cosby Show," and the dignified manner in which he presented himself publicly.
If you are still a fan of Bill Cosby, do not dishonor him by staying silent. It is unreasonable to accept accusations against Cosby without truly knowing him. The individuals who made these negative claims about Cosby, where are they now? Are they waiting for another opportunity to seek financial gain from him? Their primary objective seemed to be to take his money by any means necessary. Why did they not come forward at the height of his career, when they could have shut everything down? Why wait until a certain comedian, who is no longer relevant, made a statement? This comedian initiated the "Me Too" movement.
If you supported Cosby's work, continue to do so. There are few who can match the quality of Cosby's contributions today. How many shows are like "Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids", "The Cosby Show," "A Different World," or "I Spy"? How many comedians can make you laugh without resorting to profanity in their dialogue? Bill Cosby remains a great TV legend and should be treated as such.
