Testimony of a Tired Creator: Why I’m Building My Own Path

Creators, artists, founders, you can say whatever you like, but what I despise most is when they're being taken advantage of.  I don't enjoy it when social media websites that claim that they're helping lets just say founders when they're just making a name for their own companies.  They want to make the rules and then say these are YouTube creators or whatever name brand it is.  Well, I've had enough.  

I've come to my own website to write about my frustration.  Maybe it's just getting late, and I'm tired, but you see I've dealt with websites like YouTube that don't pay anyone anything.  Am I wrong for asking for pay when it comes to my work?  I don't think it's too much to ask.  It makes me want to do something new and get away from what people consider normal and popular.  I like what newgrounds.com is doing.  I've done my research, and they've been around since the 90s.  How awesome is that?  All that I ask is for something new.  And darn it, maybe I'm doing something "new" by writing on my blog.  I guess, in a way, it's something that I actually need. ✌
